Ravi Lamichhane Meets Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi

Kathmandu: President of the Rashtriya Swatantra party (RSP) Ravi Lamichhane held talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Wednesday.

According to reports, the two leaders discussed Nepal–India relations, matters of mutual interest, and various areas of bilateral cooperation. The meeting is seen as part of efforts to strengthen political and diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring countries.

Earlier on Tuesday, Lamichhane met Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Home Minister Amit Shah, and senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Lamichhane, who is currently on an official visit to India, has been holding a series of meetings with Indian political leaders and senior government officials. The visit is focused on enhancing dialogue and expanding cooperation across political, diplomatic, and economic sectors.

The delegation led by Lamichhane is scheduled to remain in India until Jestha 22. Officials have stated that the visit aims to further strengthen longstanding ties and promote closer collaboration between Nepal and India on issues of shared interest.
